The 7-day money-back guarantee applies to direct web purchases of:

  • Premium Quarterly subscription
  • Premium Annual subscription

Current prices are shown in the app at the time of purchase.

2.3 What's NOT Covered

  • Free accounts (as no payment was made)
  • Subscription renewals after the first billing cycle
  • Requests made more than 7 days after the purchase date
  • Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play (see Section 7)
  • Accounts that have been suspended or terminated for Terms of Service violations

3. Subscription Cancellation vs. Refund

Important: Cancelling your subscription is different from requesting a refund.

7. Apple App Store & Google Play Purchases

If you purchased your Premium subscription through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), the relevant platform — not OpenQuiz — processes your payment and handles refunds.

7.1 Apple App Store (iOS)

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID; subscriptions auto-renew through Apple.
  • Manage or cancel auto-renewal in Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device.
  • Refund requests must be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com and are granted at Apple's discretion under the App Store Terms.

7.2 Google Play (Android)

  • Payment is charged to your Google Play account; subscriptions auto-renew through Google.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions.
  • Refund requests are handled by Google in accordance with the Google Play refund policy.

7.3 Annual / Quarterly Subscriptions (Web)

For annual or quarterly subscriptions purchased directly through our website:

  • Within 7 days of initial purchase: eligible for a full refund under Section 2.
  • After 7 days: no prorated refunds are provided. You can cancel at any time to prevent the next renewal and retain Premium access until the current period ends.
  • Exceptions may apply in cases of severe unresolved technical issues or where required by applicable law.

We may deny refund requests in the following situations:

10. Chargebacks

Important: Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank.

If you file a chargeback instead of requesting a refund through us:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended
  • We may dispute the chargeback if it's not legitimate
  • Chargebacks can result in permanent account termination
  • You may be liable for chargeback fees if the dispute is found in our favor
